Ho Chi Minh City, July 29, 2026 – ISUZU Vietnam Co., Ltd. (“ISUZU Vietnam”) today officially introduced the ISUZU D-MAX D-CARGO 1000, a new single-cab pickup in the D-MAX lineup, featuring a 2.33-meter cargo bed and a payload capacity of 1,095 kg in its standard configuration.
The model is aimed at business customers who need greater cargo-carrying capability than a D-MAX Crew Cab while still prioritizing everyday convenience and the D-MAX’s hallmark strengths in performance, fuel efficiency and durability.

2.33-METER CARGO BED – 1,095 KG PAYLOAD CAPACITY
With D-CARGO 1000, ISUZU adds a new option for inner-city goods transport, offering a one-ton payload capacity. With a single-cab configuration that prioritizes cargo space, the D-CARGO 1000 is equipped with a cargo bed measuring 2,330 x 1,590 x 465 mm (L x W x H) and a payload capacity of 1,095 kg. This design provides more space for cargo, effectively meeting transport needs that exceed the carrying capability of a Crew Cab pickup without requiring a larger truck.
The 2.33-meter cargo bed provides flexible space for arranging a wide range of goods. Twelve tie-down hooks help secure cargo and limit movement in transit. In addition, the chassis structure includes many load-bearing bars and rear suspension uses 6 leaf springs to ensure greater load-carrying capability and stability across a variety of operating conditions.
Depending on cargo characteristics, storage requirements and operating conditions, customers can consult authorized ISUZU Dealers on the standard cargo-bed configuration or specialized bodies, including canvas, van and reefer bodies. The selected body type affects the completed vehicle’s cargo capacity, registered payload, cost and operating conditions.

BUILT ON ISUZU D-MAX PICKUP PLATFORM FOR EVERYDAY WORK
The D-CARGO 1000 is powered by a 1.9-liter diesel engine producing 150 PS, developed with an emphasis on durability, stable performance and fuel efficiency; it delivers key qualities for a vehicle used regularly for work.
The vehicle is equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Override System (BOS) and two airbags, helping enhance safety during operation.
Inside the cabin, the durable vinyl seat upholstery is easy to wipe clean after daily use, helping keep the cabin clean and reducing the time required for interior care.
The front end retains the distinctive ISUZU D-MAX design language, with sharp, robust lines and an appearance well suited to delivery, service and other customer-facing work.
PRICING AND AFTER-SALES SUPPORT
The D-CARGO 1000 is available in white, silver and black. The recommended retail price for the standard cargo-bed configuration is as follows:
(*) The recommended retail price includes 10% value-added tax; it excludes registration tax, vehicle registration, inspection, insurance and other related costs. Costs for alternative body configurations will be quoted separately based on the selected configuration and the customer’s operating requirements.
The D-CARGO 1000 is covered by the standard warranty of five years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. Customers also receive benefits under the Customer Care program, including complimentary maintenance labor and a 50% discount on the retail price of maintenance parts, subject to the program’s scope, service intervals, validity period and applicable terms and conditions.

FIRST PUBLIC DISPLAY AT VILOG 2026
The D-CARGO 1000 will be displayed publicly for the first time at the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2026 (VILOG 2026), held from July 30 to August 1, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the ISUZU Vietnam display area, visitors will be able to view the vehicle firsthand, explore cargo-body options and consult the ISUZU team on the suitability of the D-CARGO 1000 for their cargo, operating conditions and business needs.
